Yes,  you have to be a CAP student to attend the CAP United Auditions. You can become a CAP student by registering for one of the packages on the College Audition project website http://collegeauditionproject.com/

If you are a client of CEM Music Studio, MJE Acting Studio, or D.C.C.A.P you only need to purchase the Basic website package to be eligible to register for the CAP United Auditions. If you are not a client of one of the before mentioned companies, you will be required to purchase the Essential package or higher.

Yes, as coaches ourselves we understand that people may already have acting, vocal and/or college audition coaches before deciding to become a CAP student. However, when you buy certain CAP package you receive consults with our CAP Team members. These are not meant to replace the coaching that you may already be receiving but instead are treated as a supplement to your training. These consultations will allow the CAP Team time to assist and help you in the process and make sure that you are prepping accordingly for the CAP United Auditions.

Yes, our CAP Team is made up of industry professionals with years of experience in every area of the college audition process. So, we have a coach ready to help you no matter what you need. Parents, because we know that this process can be crazy for everyone, we have CAP Team members that can help you as well! All lessons are taught via Skype or Facetime.

CAP Prep is open to any High School Sophomores and Juniors, anywhere in the world, that might be interested in prepping to go through the college audition process their senior year. CAP Prep is also open to any current Seniors that are planning on taking a GAP year and then going through college auditions. CAP Prep is a great opportunity to get an inside look on how the college audition process works and get to learn from amazing college faculty and the CAP Team.

Yes, parents can attend both CAP United Auditions and CAP Prep. We encourage you parents and guardians to be there to support your student. We will have a parent orientation and our team will always be available to answer any questions during the event. however, parents are not allowed in the auditions, callbacks or workshop rooms. There are spacious areas in the hotel for parents to gather and chat during the time when parents are not allowed in the event spaces.

Yes, when we say that you get to audition for all the school we mean it. You will be seen by approximately 1/2 of the schools one day and the other 1/2 the next. These are ACTUAL auditions and not masterclasses or workshops. After your auditions for the schools you will receive notification if they would like to see you for a callback or another round of auditions. Each school is different in their process. These are a private unified auditions and are equal to another other audition experience, this is part of the school recruiting season and taken as serious as any other auditions they may hold or attending during the year.
